President Erdogan spoke by phone with President of Ukraine Zelensky.
According to the statement made by the Presidency of Communications, the developments regarding the Russia-Ukraine war were evaluated during the meeting.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that he is very pleased to have successfully concluded the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, on which they have been working for a long time.
MEDIATION AND FACILITATION OFFER FOR THE ZAPORIGIA REGION
Noting that the agreement for the export of Ukrainian grain over the Black Sea is working, Erdoğan said that a similar approach can be taken in the context of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, and that the necessary mediation and facilitation proposal for the establishment of a demilitarized zone around the power plant is valid.
REFERENDUMS IN UKRAINE
Noting that holding unilateral referendums in some parts of Ukraine under Russian control would complicate efforts to revive the diplomatic process, President Erdoğan said that they are ready to make any necessary contribution to the resolution of the war through peaceful negotiations.
