Kremlin reveals details of Erdogan-Putin meeting

Ushakov briefed the journalists about Putin’s visit to the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, for the SCO Heads of State Summit to be held on September 15-16.

Stating that Putin will hold a meeting with President Erdogan as part of the summit, Ushakov said, “The leaders are in constant dialogue, including over the phone. There are many issues that are negotiated, such as grain, on which Turkey plays a very positive role. Many issues will be discussed during the meeting between Erdogan and Putin. A significant part of the meeting in Samarkand will be devoted to economic issues as a continuation of the agreements reached in Sochi on July 5th.” he said.

Explaining that there will be a meeting between Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Ushakov gave the following information:
