19-year-old Alex Sibney, who set out from the Netherlands with his Tall bike, which was formed by combining two bicycles on top of each other about 6 months ago, continues his tour by taking the puppy he found on the Serbia-Romania border with him.
Italian Sibney, who lives with her family in England, became interested in bicycles at a young age. 5 years ago, he combined two bikes on top of each other to get a long and high bike. Selling 9 bikes in this way, Sibney decided to go on a world tour with the money she saved.

Sibney, who first cycled in England to try herself, decided to cross the borders of her country.
Sibney, who set off in January and went to the Netherlands by ship, went on tour in March after working a little more and saving money.
THE PUPPY DOG FOUND IS A COMMITTEE
Following the Rhine river, Sibney’s journey alone, who passed through many settlements in Germany, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, changed after the puppy she found on the Serbia-Romania border.
Sibney, who took the dog to a town in Serbia, made a special compartment on his bike for the animal, for which he obtained a health certificate. Continuing on his way with his dog, Sibney passed through Romania and Bulgaria and reached Turkey.
Reaching Kırklareli after Edirne, Sibney took a break at Yıldızlar Cycling Academy in Lüleburgaz district.
“I LOVE BICYCLE, DISCOVERING NATURE, PEOPLE, NEW CULTURES”
Sibney stated that she went on a world tour with her long bike, which is formed by combining two bikes on top of each other, and said, “I live in England. I have been using long bikes for 4.5 years. I love cycling, nature, people, discovering new cultures. This is what got me on the road.”
Sibney explained that as soon as she stepped into youth, she started to travel long distances and continued as follows:
“I couldn’t start a big trip in 2020 due to the pandemic. When we came to the end of 2021, I went to the Netherlands by ship and worked here for 3.5 months. I left Amsterdam to start my bike trip to Asia. I’ve been on the road for about 6 months.
I want to go to Cappadocia from here and then I can say that I have traveled to Asia. But my journey will not end here. I want to travel the world with this bike. No one has traveled the world with this type of bike, this will be a first. It’s an incredible form of travel.”
“WE WAS 2,5-3 WEEKS WHEN I FOUND”
Sibney noted that she continued her journey with her puppy Nova, whom she met at the Serbia-Romania border.
Stating that they had an emotional bond with Nova at the first moment they met, Sibney said, “When I found her, she was 2.5-3 weeks old. I embraced her. She is growing faster than I thought.”
