Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen metro, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan targeted İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu without giving a name.
Erdogan,“Some are trying to own the rail systems we built. You know who they are, right? It’s flooding, where is the mayor of Istanbul? in Bodrum. But where are Erdogan’s ministers? Where the cases are” used the phrases.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu did not take long to respond to Erdoğan’s words. Sharing his social media account on Twitter, İmamoğlu said, “The cost of the metro line, which was opened today, is covered by the İBB. In other words, as in the whole country, the sole owner of the investments is our precious citizens. Pendik Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro will be beneficial to our Istanbul.”
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM), “The subway cost 4.4 Billion TL. The investment was made by AYGM from the budget of our Ministry. Good luck to Istanbul and our country!” made a statement.
“IBB DOESN’T DESTROY BY CLOSING THE LOGO”
IMM Press Advisor Murat Ongun shared the photograph of President Erdogan in front of the subway car, whose IMM logo was covered, and the photo of the vehicle in its normal state, on Twitter.
Ongun used the following expressions: “THE LOGO IS THE LOGO OF 16 MILLION ISTANBULERS IMM pays for this line. IMM’s Metro Istanbul company operates the line. This metro is boarded with Istanbulkart. Closing the logo will not destroy the IMM.”
THAT LOGO IS THE LOGO OF 16 MILLION İSTANBULERS
IMM pays for this line. The line is operated by IMM’s Metro Istanbul company. You can get on this metro with Istanbulkart.
