IMM does not disappear by closing the logo

WALL – The polemic initiated by President Tayyip Erdoğan, who opened the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen metro in Istanbul, continues.

In his speech at the opening, Erdoğan targeted Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu without giving a name. “Some of them are trying to own the rail systems we built,” Erdogan said. You know who they are, right?”

İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu’s response to Erdoğan’s words was not delayed. In his post, quoting Erdoğan’s words on Twitter, İmamoğlu said, “The cost of the metro line, which was opened today, is covered by the İBB. In other words, as in the whole country, the sole owner of the investments is our precious citizens. Pendik Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro will be beneficial to our Istanbul.”

‘THE LOGO IS OF 16 MILLION ISTANBUL’

The General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (AYGM) said, “Metro cost 4.4 Billion TL. The investment was made by AYGM from the budget of our Ministry. Good luck to Istanbul and our country!” made a statement.

Murat Ongun, IMM’s Press Advisor, joined the discussion with 2 photos. Ongun, who shared the photograph taken in front of the metro car with the İBB logo in front of him covered, and a photo of the normal state of the vehicle, on Twitter, made the following comment: “That LOGO IS THE LOGO OF 16 MILLION ISTANBULERS IMM pays for this line. The line is operated by IMM’s Metro Istanbul company. This metro is taken with Istanbulkart. IMM will not disappear by closing the logo.” (NEWS CENTER)
