He killed the cinematographer… FBI’s ‘Alec Baldwin’ report leaked: ‘He pulled the trigger’

The investigation continues after the accident that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza on the set of Rust, in which the famous actor Alec Baldwin both starred and produced.

‘HE PICKED THE TRIGGER’

The fog curtain in the incident that took place on October 21 last year was lifted by the report of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). ABC News, The FBI accessed the forensic report and shared the information contained therein with the public.

In the report, it was stated that the gun in Baldwin’s hand ‘will not be fired without pulling the trigger’.

CAN BE PENALTY

In the report, it was stated that “the gun could not fire without pulling the trigger” regarding the tragedy that took place on the set of the movie Rust. In other words, the FBI’s report concluded that the gun would only fire if the trigger was pulled.

This means Baldwin could still face criminal charges, with Santa Fe police confirming that the case will be referred to the District Attorney.

According to NTV The FBI forensic report was examining all areas of the fatal accident as part of a wider investigation to see if any charges could be brought.

Officials said yesterday they were waiting for the players’ phone records and the prosecutor was working with the Suffolk County Police in New York and Baldwin’s lawyers to obtain them.

The records will be reviewed by detectives and then a case file will be sent to determine if any charges will be made.

HE SAID “I DIDN’T PULL THE TRIGGER”

Baldwin, 64, stated that he did not admit that he fired the bullet that killed Hutchins in his first interview after the incident, on ABC television. “I didn’t pull the trigger. I never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger” he said.

Baldwin stated that he did not know what a real bullet was doing on the set and in the gun. “I still find it hard to believe. It feels unreal to me” he had spoken.

During the filming of Rust last year, Baldwin accidentally killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza while rehearsing with what she thought was safe. Baldwin had said that the gun did not pull the trigger, that it fired when he cocked it.

Shortly after the incident, Hutchins’ family, the film’s production companies, producers and other members of the crew also sued Baldwin.
