In accordance with the experiences within the nationwide press, 72-year-old Schulz, whereas giving a speech on the occasion on the Presidential Palace, received sick and left the corridor after which collapsed to the bottom. It was decided that Schulz handed away.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier shared the data that Schulz died and the occasion was ended.
In his condolence message to Schulz’s spouse, Monika Schulz, Steinmeier stated, “I’m deeply shocked and saddened by the information of the sudden dying of your spouse, who tragically handed away in our home immediately.”
Born in 1950 within the metropolis of Zwickau within the former East Germany (DDR), Schulz served as a Member of Parliament within the Bundestag between 1990-2005 and within the European Parliament in 2009-2014.
