In an interview with Greek Prime Minister Bloomberg, he said, “It is inconceivable to accuse Greece of committing crimes against humanity on immigration,” referring to Turkey.
Claiming that Turkey is using refugees as a weapon, Mitsotakis stated that Greece rescued tens of thousands of people who were in danger at sea, protected its borders as its obligation and at the same time respected basic human rights.
TENSION STARTED WITH THE F-16 EXPLANATION
Relations between Turkey and Greece were strained after the statements of Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis in the USA.
