Responding to the Twitter post of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the subject, Musk said, “We are activating Starlink.” used the phrase.

In the statement made by the Ministry of the Treasury, it was reported that the general license in question was issued with the aim of increasing support for internet freedom in Iran.

Pointing out that the government restricted internet access after the demonstrations that started after Mahsa Emini died in Iran after she was detained on the grounds that she “did not comply with the headscarf rules”, it was noted that the US took action to “support the free flow of information and access to fact-based information” for the Iranian people.
