Cigarettes were on the rise. Monopoly Dealers Assistance Association President announced. What will be the price of the cheapest cigarette

The last hike in cigarette prices was in July. On Saturday, July 2, the cigarette group named ‘JTİ’ was given a raise. Afterwards, the cigarette group Philip Morris BAT and Imperial had a raise of 2 TL.

It was claimed that a new hike in cigarette prices would follow after the consecutive cigarette hike applied to JTİ, Philip Morris, BAT and Imperial groups after the SCT hike. After the statement of Özgür Aybaş, Chairman of the Monopoly Dealers Platform, Erol Dündar, the Chairman of the Monopoly Dealers Assistance Association (TBYD), made some statements.

Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Assistance Association (TBYD), announced that a new increase is expected for cigarette and alcoholic products with the following words:

Cigarettes have been increased by 2 liras recently. Actually, there was going to be an increase of 4 liras, but the companies subsidized 2 liras. We expect the subsidized 2 lira to be reflected as a hike.

HOW MUCH WILL THE PRICES BE AFTER THE CIGARETTE HIRE?

After the last cigarette hike, the lowest cigarette price in the JTI group was 27.5 TL, while the highest cigarette price increased to 30 TL. If the new hike is applied, the cheapest cigarette will rise to 29.5 and the most expensive cigarette to 32 TL.

THERE WILL NOT BE A PPI UPDATE

It was stated that the PPI update of up to 60%, which is expected to be applied to cigarette prices and alcoholic beverages in 2022, will not be applied to cigarette prices.
