The bank account of 49-year-old Saniye Yılmaz, who lives in Altınordu district of Ordu, fell into the hands of fraudsters. Realizing the situation at the last moment, Saniye Yılmaz broke the game of the fraudsters with her move.

Saniye Yılmaz, who lives in Altınordu district, became suspicious when she saw that an additional advance account worth 15 thousand TL was opened on her behalf, without her knowledge, through her mobile banking account. Yılmaz, who canceled the transaction in his bank account but could not cancel due to the problem in the system, called customer service after he saw that 15 thousand liras was deposited in the opened bank account and then 2 thousand liras was withdrawn by the fraudsters. Having closed his bank account, Yılmaz saved his savings in the gold account he used and the remaining 13 thousand liras in his advance account of 15 thousand liras, before they fell into the hands of fraudsters.

“THANK YOU, I SAID WITH 2 THOUSAND LIRA”

Describing the incident that happened to her, Saniye Yılmaz stated that on August 19, without her knowledge, an additional advance account of 15 thousand lira was opened in her bank account, “These people copied my phone. I’m getting a four digit code from somewhere. I was suspicious because this code came, I tried to look at my bank account immediately, but I could not enter my account. When the mobile application of the bank was opened, it asked me for my information as if I was entering it for the first time. I was suspicious, I thought the phone had a virus. I reset my phone and when I turned the phone back on I was logged into my bank account. When I logged in, I saw that I had 13 thousand liras in my account. I know I don’t have that much money. I saw that an advance account of 15 thousand lira was opened for me, 2 thousand liras of which was withdrawn. In other words, if I had not acted early, they would have taken my money and my savings within 10-15 minutes. Thankfully, I survived with 2 thousand liras.” said.

“THANK YOU I PROTECTED MY MONEY”

Underlining that he did not want anyone to fall into the situation he was in, Yılmaz said that he was able to protect the money he had saved for retirement with his own vigilance. “Because I know about such events, I don’t click on the links that come to my phone, but I don’t know how they did it. Don’t let them get into the situation I’m in. I will now close all my unused accounts. Because my labor was stolen. Thankfully, I saved the money I saved to retire.” he said.
