Antalyaspor, one of the Super League teams, signed a two-year contract with 28-year-old Japanese player Shoya Nakajima, whose testimonial is from Portugal’s Porto club.
Shoya Nakajima, who previously played for Portimonense in Portugal, Al-Duhail in Qatar and Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates, went for a health check in the morning.
The Red and Whites announced the transfer with their social media account. In the post made by the Akdeniz team, “Our club signed a 2-year contract with Japanese football player Shoya Nakajima. We welcome our football player and wish him success under our red and white emblem.

Antalyaspor Press Spokesperson Adnan President attended the signing ceremony held at Atilla Vehbi Konuk Facilities for the 28-year-old midfielder. Adnan President stated that they have completed the summer transfer season and said, “Shoya Nakajima is a very experienced and quality player. We thank him for choosing us. A transfer fee of 50 million euros has been paid for him so far. One of the highest paid Japanese players to date. We are signing a 2 year deal. We believe he will be a great addition to our team.”

Shoya Nakajima started his speech by thanking everyone who contributed to the realization of the transfer. Japanese midfielder Nakajima, 28, said: “I am very happy to be here. After getting an offer from Antalyaspor, the process was not easy for me. It wasn’t easy to decide either. However, after watching the football the team plays and having an idea, I decided to come here.”
Playing in the number 10 position, Shoya Nakajima’s market value increased to 25 million Euros in 2019. Shoya Nakajima, whose current market value is 3.5 million Euros, has produced 42 goals and 44 assists in 266 league games he has played so far. Shoya Nakajima scored 5 goals in 19 games for the Japan national team.
