While the war, which started with the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was locked in Donbass, which is of critical importance for both sides, Germany succumbed to the reactions and Ukraine announced its decision to the world. After this development, which was critical for the course of the war, a flash move came from Russia.

The eyes and ears of the world have been on the news from Ukraine for months.

As the war, which has entered its 11th month, continues unabated, the new epicenter of the war is the key Donbass region.

After Putin’s statement that ‘Soledar has fallen’, eyes were turned to Germany. Under pressure from the world for weeks, Germany stepped back and gave the green light for Leopard tanks.

Germany Foreign Minister Baerbock announced that they will not prevent Poland from supplying Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks.

After this statement, Poland started the process by making an official application.

As the countdown officially started for the tanks that were stated to provide great power to Ukraine in the war, a warning came from Russia as a threat.

German Foreign Minister Anna Baerbock said that they would not prevent Poland from sending Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

Russia warned Berlin that sending German tanks to Ukraine ‘won’t be a good thing’.

The statement came from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Peskov stated that these deliveries will not bring anything good to the future relations between Berlin and Moscow.

Peskov underlined that the sending of German tanks to Ukraine will leave a permanent mark on the relations between the two countries.

WARNING FROM RUSSIA: CAUSES DISASTER

On the other hand, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, said, “Giving offensive weapons to the Kyiv regime will lead to a global disaster.”

Making a statement from the official Telegram account Russia State Duma Chairman Volodin said, “If Washington and NATO countries procure weapons that will be used to strike cities and try to seize our lands as they threaten, this will lead to retaliatory measures using more powerful weapons.”

Volodin warned the deputies of European countries and members of the US Congress, “They should realize their responsibilities to humanity.”

The main battle tank Leopard, manufactured by the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, was first used by the German army in 1979. The latest version of the tank in question, the Leopard 2 tanks, is used by Turkey, Poland, Spain, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and Austria today.

‘THEY ARE DRIVING THE WORLD TO A TERRIBLE WAR’

Stating that the USA and the European Union dragged the world into a ‘terrible war’, Volodin said, ‘Washington and Brussels are dragging the world into a terrible war with their decisions. “To a completely different war from a military operation in which only attacks on military and critical infrastructure used by the Kyiv regime are carried out,” he said.
