3,272 immigrants were deported in the last week

The Directorate of Migration Management of the Ministry of Interior announced that 3,272 irregular migrants have been deported in the last week, and 84,993 since the beginning of the year.

The Directorate of Migration Management shared the data of irregular immigrants who were prevented from entering the country, caught and deported between 16-22 September.

According to this, it was reported that 5,632 irregular migrants were arrested and 3,272 irregular migrants were deported across the country.

According to the news in AA, the number of irregular migrants sent back to their countries between January 1 and September 22, as part of the fight against irregular migration, reached 84 thousand 993, 49 thousand 188 from Afghanistan and 9 thousand 467 from Pakistan.

Thanks to the security measures taken at the border, the number of irregular immigrants who were prevented from entering the country illegally in the last week was recorded as 5,352.

The number of irregular migrants who have been prevented from entering the country since the beginning of the year has reached 219,886. On the other hand, 15,870 irregular migrants remain in removal centres, of which 2,920 are from Afghanistan and 4,974 from Pakistan.
